Raymond, Herby

Herby co-founded Northern Yard Partners in 2024. He is responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities, leading deal due diligence and execution, structuring investments, and working alongside the firm’s partner companies. Herby also handles general strategic oversight and management of the firm. Prior to co-founding Northern Yard, Herby was with Trivest Partners, a leading private equity firm in the lower middle market, where he worked with the Discovery Fund on leading investments in founder and family-owned businesses across a wide variety of highly fragmented industries including Pave America and Pet Resort Hospitality Group. Previously, Herby was a generalist at Crestview Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, and an investment banker in Morgan Stanley’s Global Power & Utility Group. Herby received his A.B. in Economics, with Honors, from Harvard College and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
